The Rules for Our Websites, Our Photos and Our Contracts

These terms apply to every IAZ Photo Studio website, and the photos, videos and text on them belong to IAZ Photo Studio. When you book an event or a session, the contract you sign governs your booking; this page summarizes it in plain words and never replaces it.
Who runs the IAZ Photo Studio websites
IAZ Photo Studio, a photography and video studio based in Phoenix, Arizona, runs these websites: iazphotostudio.com, azfotoyvideo.com, fotoyvideoaz.com, fotoyvideophoenix.com, mifotoevento.com, photoandvideoaz.com, photographybyvarela.com, blog.iazphotostudio.com and clients.iazphotostudio.com. IAZ Photo Studio and Mi Foto Evento are names of the studio, which was founded in 2004 as Mi Foto Evento. By using these websites, you agree to these terms.
Who owns the photos, videos and text on our websites
IAZ Photo Studio owns the copyright in the photos, videos, graphics and text on its websites. Client photos appear with the client's permission, and photos of anyone under 18 with a parent's or guardian's permission.
- You may view and share links to our pages.
- You may not copy, download, edit, republish or sell our photos, videos or text without written permission. To ask, email corporate@iazphotostudio.com with the image and how you want to use it.
- If you appear in a photo on our websites and want it removed, write to us and we will take it down.
- These terms are the rights statement written into the files of the images we publish.
No scraping and no AI training with our content
You may not use bots, scrapers or automated tools to collect our photos, videos or text, and you may not use our content to train, fine-tune or test artificial intelligence or machine learning models, unless we agree in writing. Search engines may index our pages as our robots.txt files allow.
What your photos and video from IAZ Photo Studio let you do
Clients receive their photos and video for personal use. Digital downloads include permission to print the photos for personal use, and when you book, we send you a code for 20% off professional prints ordered online. IAZ Photo Studio keeps the copyright, and commercial use (selling the photos or using them to advertise a business) needs our written permission. The exact rights are in your signed contract.
What the prices on our websites mean
The packages, sessions and add-ons on our websites show the prices in effect on the page's "last updated" date. When a price changes, it changes on the websites and in new contracts. The price written in your signed contract is the price you pay, even if a website changes later. A website page is information, not an offer you can accept by itself; a booking exists only when the contract is signed and the deposit is paid.
A plain summary of our event contract (weddings, quinceañeras and other events)
Your signed contract is the one that counts. In short, it says:

| Holding your date | A $500 deposit holds your date. It is deducted from your total and is not refundable. |
| Paying the balance | The balance is paid in installments and paid in full one month before the event. |
| Cancelling | The $500 deposit is the cancellation fee, not an extra charge. If you cancel less than 4 months before the event, everything paid is lost. |
| Changing the date | Once, 4 or more months before the event, if the new date is free. Otherwise, the change costs $500. |
| Pre-event photo session | At least 2 weeks before the event. An adult family member must be present for anyone under 18. |
| Itinerary | Due one month before the event; changes are made in writing. |
| End time | Coverage ends at 10:00 p.m. Later coverage is billed at $150 per hour and paid before delivery. |
| Continuous hours | Travel between locations, waiting time and weather waits count inside your coverage hours. |
| Venue costs | Parking, entrance fees and similar costs are paid by the client. |
| Travel | No travel fee within 50 driving miles of Tempe, Arizona (I-10 and US-60). Beyond that, travel is quoted on the full driving distance and agreed in writing before the event date. |
| Photo selection | You choose your photos online within 4 weeks after the event. After that, the studio makes the selection, and it is final. |
| Delivery | Usual delivery, counted from your photo selection: 2 to 4 weeks for photo only, 4 to 8 weeks for photo and video. These are usual times, not promises; the contract sets the final terms. |
| Storage | Material is kept for one year. Download and back up your gallery within that year. |
| Other photo or video crews | Guests' phones are welcome. Another professional crew must coordinate with us; a crew that blocks our angles can end our coverage. |
| Equipment and illness | We bring backup equipment to every event. If equipment fails, the contract provides a partial or full refund. If a crew member is sick, we send another person from the studio; if no one is available, you get a full refund. |
| Weather and safety | The crew may wait out weather (it counts as coverage hours) or leave an event that isn't safe. |
| Liability | The studio's liability is limited to the amount paid. |

A plain summary of our session terms (quinceañera, engagement and graduation sessions)

| Travel and locations | There is no travel fee within 25 driving miles of Tempe, Arizona (I-10 and US-60); farther out, we quote the travel before you book. A session with more than one location stays within 5 driving miles of the spot where it starts. Permits and admission fees are not included. |
| Minors | An adult must be present with anyone under 18. |
| Delivery | Usually 2 weeks; rush delivery within 48 hours costs $100. |
Links and partner ads on our websites
Our websites link to the other IAZ Photo Studio websites, our Google Business Profile, our social media profiles and outside sources. Some pages show partner banners; those are ads, marked as ads and linked as sponsored. We don't control sites we don't run, and their own terms apply there.
The IAZ Photo Studio referral program has its own terms
Referral commissions for partner businesses and past clients follow the rules on the referral partners page. If those rules and this page ever differ, the referral partners page wins for referrals.
No promises beyond what the law and your contract give you
We work to keep our websites accurate and available, but we provide them as they are. We don't promise that every page is error-free or always online, and we make no promises beyond what your signed contract and the law provide. Nothing on our websites is legal advice.
Arizona law applies to these terms
These terms follow the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
How we change these terms
When a term changes, we update this page and its "last updated" date. Changes apply from that date; a signed contract keeps the terms it was signed with.
